It is said that Palic was one of the four most visited fashionable resorts in time of the Habsburg Empire, together with Opatija, St. Moritz and Karlovy Vary. Numerous villas, summer houses and the Large Park, built in 1840, date from this period. The favorite place for nature lovers is Palic Lake, with a 17 km long pedestrian and bike trail.
