Walter Tour – Avala Mountain, Etno Village Amerić and Koraćica Village

Take a vintage car with the driver and explore Belgrade differently. Belgrade is our treasure and we wish to make you discover it in a different way. Inspired by the time lived in Yugoslavia, we wanted to bring the spirit of a time closer to our guests.
Visiting mountain Avala which is situated just half an hour from the city. There we will visit monument dedicated to Unknown Soldier which was erected on the top of the charmless mountain, in the middle of the forest. The visitors of the monument will notice similarity with Cyrus tomb in Pasargadae. It’s served as a model for construction! After only one minute, we will be foothill of the 204m high Avala tower. Elevator will bring us to 119m panorama level. Photos taken from there are amazing! On the bottom, official souvenir shop with traditional products from Serbia is waiting for us.
After visiting of Avala mountain we will have a trip to the famous etno village Amerić which is one of the most unique etno village’s in Serbia. Located in a beautiful environment, the ethnic village is ideal for those who want to rest and get to know nature. The clean mountain air and the wonderful nature of the Kosmai region will contribute to the first impression. In the village you can see the original Šumadija’s house, different types of animals, you can enjoy the restaurant and try the specialties of local cuisine.
After break at etno village Amerić we will visit Koraćica village where famous actor Velimir Bata Živojinović spend his life and the place, church where Bata was buried. The film “Walter defends Sarajevo” with the legendary Bata Živojinović was one of the most popular films in China for decades.
